One World One Family

Each of us must rededicate ourselves to serve the common good. We are a community. Our individual fates are linked; our futures intertwined; and if we act in that knowledge and in that spirit together, we can move mountains."
Jimmy Carter

We become human only in the company of other human beings. And this involves both opening our hearts and giving voice to our deepest convictions. All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly.
Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Vasundhara celebrated the Annual Function of the ‘STARZ’ ECE wing and class 1 on September 29, 2018. The theme of the function was ‘One World One Family’
By staging the interesting character of Chota Bheem who lives in Dholakpur, a mythical city, the show depicted the idea that the golden way is to be friends with the world and to regard the whole human family as one.
The little DPSGVites presented enthralling dance performances from various parts of the world viz. Russia, Brazil, Cuba, Japan and India. In their captivating bright dresses with their stomping feet and invigorating music floating through air, the tiny tots cast a magical spell and enchanted the audience.
It was indeed a treat for the eyes, spreading the message that our true destiny is a world built from the bottom up by competent citizens living in solid communities, engaged in and by their places. The little ones beautifully expressed the importance of the global values of love, peace, harmony, integrity and brotherhood.
The chief guest of the day was Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chairperson, Mewar University Chittorgarh and Vasundhara and Dr. AnujaTrehan, an Indian Criminal Psychologist who is also a counsellor, social activist and an advocate and Mr Alok Saxena of Red FM .
The guests appreciated the children for the wonderful performance.
The Principal, Dr. Jaishree Bhargava addressed the gathering stating the importance of such programmes which help the students learn a variety of things beyond classroom. On the other hand, the parents were overwhelmed seeing the enthusiastic performance of the children.
